When you look at an art piece hanging on a wall or see a sculpture in a given space, perhaps you don't stop to think about what it is that went in to making that piece exist.
For me, the process of creating a piece of art is sometimes much more enjoyable than the outcome.
If I already know what a customer wants the finished piece to look like, I can create a plan to follow through within the given time.
Listening to my favorite music while I create can make the work much more enjoyable.
Often, I have a general idea of what I want a finished piece to look like, but I give myself freedom to experiment with different techniques during the process. Trial and error is welcome and makes for a much more rewarding journey.
Sometimes I lay out multiple color schemes in order to see how certain colors look next to each other and how they make the piece whole, overall.
